Creative St. Patrick’s Day desserts

[ad_1]

A jolly St. Patrick’s Day calls for some “shamrockin’” desserts. So what better way to celebrate a day of “paddying” than by indulging in some desserts worth their weight in gold? From leprechaun vanilla fudge to shamrock pretzel pops, there’s a dessert for every clover in the patch. If you’re on the hunt for some charming and sugary confections to enjoy with your green beer, you’re in luck because here are five creative St. Patrick’s Day dessert recipes that will have you and your pals over the rainbow with excitement.

6 tips to set (and hit) your savings goals

1. St. Patrick’s Day rainbow pot o’ gold dessert cup

These pudding cups are as pretty as they are tasty. Start by adding a layer of chocolate pudding followed by vanilla pudding mixed with heavy cream, Cool Whip and crushed Oreo cookies to a glass. Repeat this process a second time. Finally, top with a chocolate gold coin, a rainbow candy belt and gold sprinkles before serving.

2. St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun vanilla fudge

No leprechaun will be able to resist these Lucky Charms. First, add butter, cream, sugar and salt to a large saucepan over medium-high heat, and bring to a boil. Next, pour the mixture into a bowl with white chocolate chips and marshmallow cream. Blend the mixture using a hand mixer until smooth. Set aside some of the fudge mixture before adding green food coloring. Pour the green fudge into a baking dish lined with parchment paper, and smooth over the top. Add the remaining white fudge around the dish, and swirl it around with a toothpick. Finally, sprinkle on some Lucky Charms marshmallows, and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.

3. St. Patrick’s Day dessert board

St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be complete without tons of green candy. This emerald-hued dessert board consists of bowls of green M&M’s, jelly beans and chocolate balls wrapped in green foil. TikToker @fabeveryday arranges an assortment of rainbow lollipops to one side of the candy bowls, followed by green Rice Krispies Treats with Lucky Charms on the opposite side. Then she fills in the remaining gaps with a cluster of chocolate gold coins and rainbow gummies along with Oreos and pretzels dipped in green frosting.

4. St. Patrick’s Day shamrock pretzel pops

Claim the luck of the Irish with these shamrock pretzel pops! Begin by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Next, dip each pretzel in a bowl of melted green chocolate. Then place it on the parchment paper with the bottom edge touching a lollipop stick. Repeat this process until three pretzels are around each stick. Once all three pretzels have solidified to the stick, gently dip them in the melted chocolate, making sure each side is evenly coated before serving.

5. St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Charms (grown-up) cocoa bombs

Give your hot cocoa an Irish twist with this Lucky Charms cocoa bomb! First, add melted chocolate to a silicone mold. Once solidified, remove the chocolate from the mold and place it in a cupcake liner. Pour Baileys Irish Cream into the chocolate before placing the other chocolate half on top. Pipe on some green icing followed by rainbow sprinkles and Lucky Charms, and enjoy!
